Anyone who knows me knows I love Judge Judy. I'll admit it. She's awesome. I love it how she just says what she is thinking, even if it ridiculous sometimes. Anywho, I took a break from working tonight (big day tomorrow) so I got to watch an episode.
It made me realise that things can always be much worse.
A woman went out drinking with her daughter. On their way home, she said her daughter saw wild turkeys in the middle of the road, and she grabbed the steering wheel of the vehicle and proceeded to drive it into a tree. She was suing her daughter for damages.
Her argument was that if her daughter wasn't there, the accident wouldn't have happened. (WTF?!)
Judge Judy, in only the way she can, ripped her to shreds. Her case was dismissed.
Her daughter was counter claiming. She explained that her mother gave her a third party cheque for $2K to cash and the cheque bounced. Some "corporation" sent her mother a letter stating that if she cashed the cheque and sent the cash to them, that would pay for the taxes of the "lottery winning" that she was entitled to. Needless to say, it was a scam.
Round two of the wrath commenced. Daughter won.
Ah it was great.
(My heart goes out to the daughter though...)
